Last day at the hospital Isaac waves goodbye. We are so happy to be going home! Isaac was finally up and walking around.
Isaac sleeps with his little truck that he loves to play with.
Isaac is waking up from a nap.
Isaac's first day at the hospital not feeling to well. His eyes look so sad.
This has been the most stressful two weeks ever for our family. Last week we had to call the ambulance because Isaac had a Febrile Seizure. It was the most scariest thing I ever had to witness. After a blood draw, cat scan, x-ray and almost five hours in the ER. we were sent home with a perscription for antibiotics and an appointment to see his Dr in the morning. His Dr. gave him some anti nausea medicine hoping it would help with the throwing up. However he kept throwing up and couldn't hold anything down for almost four days straight. He was admitted into the hospital and couldn't have anything to eat or drink for a whole day and he was hooked up to an IV. This was to help give his stomach a rest. The next day thankfully he was able to hold his food and liquids down. He was a completely different kid the following day. I posted a video of
him pushing his IV. This just made me cry, I was so thankful to see him up and walking. I am just so thankful to my Heavenly Father that he is doing so much better. Everyday he his getting better. The Dr. said we need to be careful as there is a chance that this could happen again. I never knew a fever could turn into a seizure. The Dr. said 5% of the population get Febrile Seizures. The cause is a rapid increase or decrease in body temperature. In our case it was a rapid increase in Isaac's body temperature. He had a fever that just spiked in just a couple of minutes.
